states withdrawing, being weak, the united states not reacting with strength, with the way it should, and i think that's a recipe for disaster in the future. host: dan balls in the "washington post" saying it's time for romney to spell out his agenda. what does he need to do? guest: i think he could be more specific about what he wants to do. he said last week he had an economic plan, that would not decrease taxes on the wealthy, would not increase taxes on anyone, he could be more specific about that, i think. but i think the real case that he has to make is what happens if we have four more years, can we stand four more years of this. i think, my view is the country is being wrecked, that we are going downhill. maybe the most important statistic is not the economic stuff, which you hear endlessly about, unemployment and middle class family income and so on, but national morale, 57 percent of americans think we're in decline as a country and as a civilization. that's pathetic. this is what's happened to morale, our sense of selves if they want more they can elect barack obama. host:

in the united states. the web is . is we have freedom on the web. tois parents' responsibility turn off the internet and make sure things they are looking at on there are poor. . -- are appropriate. we have a right to anything that's on it. that part of our freedom. if you do this, where do you stop? suppose something else comes and someone does not think the poor. but someone else does? there are many things attached to religion that some people find appropriate and other. people that other it's up to the individual. if you take that right away, it's wrong. host: what you make of facebook walking links to the video in pakistan -- blocking links? caller: the question is kind of tricky, because if you are going to put things on the web, it has to be done in an appropriate manner and then let people make their own decision. that's the true journalism. when your reports things, when you see things, it has to be done in an objective way so that people can make their own decisions. just putting it on and let us make our decision when we see it, that's the part -- that should be part of that

there in lebanon calling on the crowds to protest, to protest and to go against the united states using this anti-muslim film as an excuse. his words: as long as blood is in the u.s., we will not remain silent. this pakistan, as you noted, trouble. this is what was feared, a lot of trouble. karachi, second day in a row of protests, and in a tough border city near afghanistan also the seven of protests -- scene of protests. back here in tunisia, the embassy here is on a skeleton staff after friday's protest which saw folks ransacking through the embassy compound. also targeted the nearby american school. over 600 kids of international parents usually attend there, including some 100 american children. but administrators saw what was happening in the embassy, they sent the kids home. a short while later the school was ransacked by islamist protesters. here is what the director told me about the government response. take a listen. >> i was surprised that the protesters weren't stopped. i think the new government's trying to find the balance between what they allow and what they don't. >> they let it
